Our mission is to connect more people with nature through life-changing, ultra expedition outdoor experiences.

We’re not another guide company. We are not another travel itinerary company. We are a life-changing experience company. Because so, you will discover that what we offer are one-of-a-kind experiences that we have had the pleasure to experience ourselves. We’ve come away changed in some way and have often felt as though more people should have the opportunity to experience similar profound moments.

ROVE Ultra Expeditions grew out of the deep passion for adventure held by seasoned outdoor adventure travelers, R Daniel Cronin and Scott Leuthold. The team met in the early years of Overland Expo where Scott had been selected as a guest speaker for the event and Dan attended his talk. The friendship grew over the years and eventually resulted in a collaborative relationship between Dan’s company Northwest Overland Society and Scott’s company 4XPEDITION Adventurer.

After years of collaboration between both companies, the duo has finally come together to offer exclusive “ultra expeditions” to the public in an effort to bring ever evolving, rich experiences to the public.

Each with their own fine-tuned skill set and experience, Dan and Scott bring expert adventure leadership with a curated list of creative, immersive and exciting itineraries to bucketlist destinations around the world. Each excursion promises to deliver much more than a traditional travel experience. We craft expeditions with deep human and landscape interaction and connection. Our experiences are designed to open minds, inspire reflection, establish long-lasting friendships and improve the lives of our participants.

Our expeditions may initially be seen as an escape from the rigors of daily life by our participants but often when the journey comes to an end, guests come to realize the experience was the first step in a new life direction and commitment to personal growth. ⌖
